Field Service Automation


Field personnel respond to service calls that require them to install, repair, replace and service products and assets in the field. This involved heavy paper work, verification and confirmation from the corporate end to validate the customer's ownership.

Field Service Automation includes the mobilization of the whole process including the availability of customer related information for quick referral and confirmation.

Mobile Field Service Automation using PDAs include the following features : 

  • Service Manager to retrieve list of service calls, manage, complete and debrief work orders
  • Asset Manager to retrieve customer, asset details, specifications, etc.,
  • Maintain offline database on asset specific issues and diagnostic solutions
  • Update new issues and the handled diagnostic solutions as knowledge base
  • Verify asset ownership, warranties & Service Level Agreements
  • Inspect assets, takes readings, collect data and capture signatures
  • Review and Generate invoices, orders, RMAs
  • Retrieve current spare part inventory position to provide a comprehensive service completion timeframe
  • Clock the whole service time cycle to measure productivity
